I am so proud of our Year 11 students for their hard work, resilience, and success following a pleasing set of GCSE and BTEC results.
Rooted in the school’s core ethos of working hard and being kind to each other, students have demonstrated the values we strive to instil every day—resilience, ambition, inquisitiveness, teamwork, and togetherness—all leading to the success we celebrate today.
Among this year’s results, a number of students achieved the highest possible grade – Grade 9 – a testament to their dedication and academic excellence. Equally inspiring are those students who have overcome significant personal challenges and adversity to secure strong grades, reflecting the resilience that defines our school community.
We are especially pleased to report that over half of our students achieved a Grade 4 or above in both English and Maths. Notably, English results have seen a marked improvement, with more students achieving a Grade 4 or higher in the subject. This is a positive step forward and reflects the focused effort of both students and staff.
These results are the culmination of years of hard work, commitment, and support. I am incredibly proud of every one of our Year 11. Success like this doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s a team effort. I would like to offer my thanks to the parents and carers who have stood alongside us, encouraging and supporting our young people to be the very best they can be. Their partnership has been vital.
Whether students are now moving on to further education, apprenticeships, or other exciting pathways, we wish them all the very best. They leave us not only with qualifications but with the values and character to thrive in whatever comes next. Enrolment to our Sixth Form MCA6 is open and I hope that many of our students will choose to continue their studies with us. Students can visit the centre directly to enrol or can do so via the enrolment form on our website: Sixth Form – Mildenhall College Academy
MCA6 achieved record-breaking results with 46% of our Year 13 students achieving top grades of A*-B at A-level and 43% achieving a Distinction or Distinction* across the range of vocational subjects. We also offer a free laptop to all students who study with us.
The MCA community will continue to build on this year’s successes, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing students who are not only academically prepared, but kind, inquisitive, and ready to take on the world
